Re: [epp-dev] Helios SR1 RC4 - sign off request

I did a very similar test with 20100917-0715_eclipse-rcp-helios-SR1-RC4-linux.gtk.x86_64.tar.gz on 64-bit Linux: I installed Xpand via 'Help' > 'Install Modeling Components' and it worked perfectly.

Other test with the RCP/RAP package were successful as well (installing Git with the Marketplace Client from the Yoxos repository). So the question remains: What else could be going on here? Or is it a false alarm?

Thanks, Markus

I'm using x86 Linux/GTK.
Have others reproduced this problem?  Maybe there is something else going on here?

I already experimented such issues when trying to install bundles into an Eclipse runtime launched from a run configuration, but here I'm launching a plain standalone Eclipse. Did anything changed in the P2 profiles between RC3 and RC4 ?

Hi package maintainers,

there is a new build of the Helios SR1 RC4 EPP packages available that needs testing and your approval:

Please test and send your sign-offs to this mailing list. This is not only a candidate build for RC4, but also for next weeks final SR1 release.

Thanks, Markus
