Re: [epf-dev] EPF Composer platform ?

Chris,

As I needed to use EPF in macOS, I have forked the git repo, successfully mavenized its building (using tycho) and ported it to Juno.

With Tycho is easy to build a P2 and multi-platform products.

As you have said Lucene was the worst problem. but there was others, like menu and commands.

I have created a self-updated product that contains Git (instead CVS) and m2e. The good thing is that it let you update all EPF features without have to download the entire product (something that you can't with downloaded EPF product).

Next weekend I will try to port it to Kepler and add BPMN modeler editor to the product.

I'll upload it to github as soon as it works properly. let you know...

regards,

Cristiano

Ismael,
EPF project doesn't seems to have an update site. so, you need to build one for yourself from source code.
you could search the web for learn how to create one p2 repository from a workspace, there are lot of articles about it.

After that you can install EPF features in your own eclipse from your own local p2 repository.

regards,

Chris

It is Helios, I have used latest of Helios together with EPF.

I'm not used with 3rd party components in Eclipse. How should I install EPF in stock Eclipse?
