The daily reports requires you to configure a job. Assuming you are running on Linux this is described here http://wiki.eclipse.org/EPF_Wiki_Installation_Guide_for_Ubuntu#Add_a_Cron_Job

There are multiple users set up, each of which are configured to receive daily reports. The discussion updates send email notifications successfully, and when manually requested the wiki will send the daily report.

Have I missed an aspect of the configuration?
