Hi folks,

I'm also interested in changing/replacing the
graphical notations for activity diagrams. I've managed to change them
in the publishing process, by allowing EPF to generate web activity
diagrams using a dynamic _javascript_ library, in order for users to be
able to graphically change processes over published configurations.
I've acomplished this by editing the xsl files associated with HTML
generators. I'm trying to associate the new web diagram editor to the
rest of the logic that each element contains...

My ultimate goal is to provide web users a way to change
published configurations in a controlled (restricted) manner. Does
anyone has any suggestions?

I'd tried looking for images at epf's folders and I found many gif images (16x16 or 32x32) but i'm not quite shure if replacing them would make de desired effect. and also there are some duplicated images in different folders n' I don't know exactly which one to replace.

Yes, you can customize activity diagram (or activity details diagram and work product dependency diagram) by assign a Supporting Material (which include your customized diagram) to a process by select "User Defined Diagram".
