Thanks a lot for your help, I was able to
export the XML file and import it back again. M4 build does perfectly the
export & Import…..
I downloaded the M5 build and tried the
same export, it did the job but when I opened the file in browser I got the following
error message

Thanks & Regards

Export
Saravanan,
Just
type the destination directory and XML file name in the File input field, say
"C:\EPF_XML_EXPORT\OpenUP.xml".

Alternatively,
you can click the Browse button to
select a XML file on your file system, or navigate to a specific directory and
enter a new XML file name, say "Test.xml", in the File name input field.

Note:
We have made several enhancements to the XML Export and Import in EPF M5.
Please upgrade to M5 if possible.
Regards,
Kelvin

[epf-dev] RE: XML Export
|
|
I am using EPF M4 build to model our
development process, during which I tried to export the data ( Library / Plugin
) to XML output, during which it asks for an export directory and XML file
name.
How can I give a XML file, when I want to export it? Can
some one help me or clarify me on how to export the data in an XML file. Am I
missing something?
Thanks & Regards

Charlie,
let's send in code, content, and the following attachments to legal,
license@xxxxxxxxxxx so we can get legals approval.
We will do minor updates to slides and log before review meeting, but need
to get legal approval.
epf-dev, I still need to add 1-2 slides with lists of companies committed
to provide services and commerical products based on EPF 1.0, per the
e-mail sent to me over the last few days.
Content leads, we need to discuss how to rapidly improve upon our defect
stats... Not sure whether spreadsheet and bugzilla are outofdate, or if we
do not have deferred defects marked as 2,0, or what, but this does not look
that great.
Cheers

Sorry, my previous e-mail should have said:
"To pass legal review, we need to specify all the people who were
committers or contributed content or code to the release."
If you contributed code, please make sure to cc Charlie since he owns the
tool component.

To pass legal review, we need to specify all the people who were committers
or contributed content to the release.
I know a lot of people have helped out with content, who were not
contributor,
Content leads: Please send a list of who should be added from your content
area that is not on the list.
Others: If you think you shoudl be on the list, please send me a note and
cc the content lead for your area that you haev been working with.
Thanks Charlie for assembling the project log.
