[emfstore-dev] EMFStore 1.7.0 RC1

Dear all,

on the 15th of January 2016 we'll release RC 1 of EMFStore 1.7.0. The following is a list of BRs we try to address until then:

- https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=479117
Project is shared twice when session expires

We were not able to fix this in 1.7.0 M2 due a bug with transactional compatibility. Hopefully, we will be able to find a fix for this in RC1.

It is possible to delete Server containing shared project

- https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=483999
Do not record reference operations between elements within containment tree

A fix which causes that less redundant operations are recorded, hence leading to a less memory usage for large deletes.

There'll be a last follow-up mail for 1.7.0 RC2 informing you about changes and planned fixes for the final release on 25th of February.
