Gitter seems nice & easy to setup and use.
I think I'll try it out as well!
And it could be handy indeed as an interaction tool, also for potential ELK users (like me)

Probably yes, but I’m already using Slack and Gitter, and wouldn’t like that much to set up another chat client beyond these two. I brought up Gitter because that one was chosen for Xtext.
