[ejb-dev] Optional features and available implementations

Kicking this off for discussion.

We have several optional features in EJB and no real awareness of who implements what.  This came up around test coverage in the TCK, but really this should be information any user can find.

We should probably provide that transparency to our ecosystem.  What we'd need to do is get a clear list of optional features together and once we feel it is complete and clear, we ask each of the certified servers to let us know which of them they support.  Then we'll probably want to keep collecting that in all new certifications.  We could even make it a certification requirement that the optional features being shipped are disclosed in the certification request.

What do people generally think and is there someone out there who is looking to have impact and would like to run with this for a bit?
