| I was able to install this successfully. I suspect that you haven’t got an updated version of Mylyn in Eclipse Luna. You can add the Mylyn updates from http://download.eclipse.org/mylyn/releases/latest after which it should install for you.
I'm trying to install the latest EGit
4.0.1 in Eclipse Luna but when I select the Task focused interfacecomponent I get this error:

items could not be found.

requires 'org.eclipse.mylyn.team_feature.feature.group 3.5.0' but it could
not be found
I found several posts about the same
problem and the answer is always the same, do not select that component,
I know it is optional, but in this case I need it.
How can I install this component?
