Does anybody know if any work has been done to integrated JGit as a SCM provider with Maven? Currently Maven uses the native git command line tools, as EGit has now got to such the stage where it is sufficient to perform all the standard day to day tasks it would be nice to have the option of not needing to install the native command
line tools and so get people up and running quicker.
