If shit is still hitting the fan, you can just download the p2 repo
zip directly from Hudson...

https://hudson.eclipse.org/hudson/job/egit/lastSuccessfulBuild/artifact/org.eclipse.egit-updatesite/target/site/*zip*/site.zip

Then you can install locally. However, we generally don't recommend this method.
