Re: [ee4j-pmc] git tags naming convention?

+1 for the pure version number, as it is most intuitive.

+1 for leaving this to the projects, as there had not been a anyone asking for that in the past ten months, so there seems to be no good reason.

We have not defined any conventions for EE4J for this. Personally, I like naming the tag as the version number of the released artifact. 

 

Should we define EE4J-wide conventions or just leave it to the projects?
