=====
  1. EclipseCon community Day
    The conference is completely virtual and free this year! It will take place October 19-22, 2020. There is a dedicated IoT and Edge track.

    Community Day will be on October 19. We have a 90 minutes session in the schedule. Eclipse IoT and Edge projects can grab a five minutes slot to provide updates to the community. It is not too late to add your project to the roster. All details are available in this email sent by Jens Reimann to the Eclipse IoT mailing list.

  2. Edge Computing World
    Edge Computing World 2020 is a virtual event running October 12-15, 2020. The developer conference is on October 12 and 13.

    Angelo Corsaro and Kilton Hopkins give a demo-oriented session on October 12. Frédéric Desbiens, Angelo and Kilton will also deliver a WG update and roadmap session on October 13.

  3. Edge Data encryption (data at rest)
    Meeting attendees discussed various aspects of data encryption at rest. Kilton Hopkins made the point that a hardware root of trust is a useful addition to most edge nodes, and put forward the Zymbit ZYMKEY 4i as a good example of an off-the-shelf part that can be added to Raspberry PIs, for example.
