Re: [eclipselink-users] Race conditions in EclipseLink runtime?

Hi Laird,

An additional FYI. This issue is particular to scenarios where EclipseLink's weaving has not been enabled.

In Java SE, you can point to eclipselink.jar with the -javaagent argument to enable weaving.

In Java EE, it will be enabled by default.

In other scenarios, we a static weaving tool that enables weaving.

Yes!! Thanks! I knew something was up and I wasn't going insane. :-)

Please feel free BTW to use anything out of that project that you want to in the area of cycling through the persistence frameworks. I would love it if EclipseLink, OpenJPA and Hibernate would all start validating each other.
I have a good idea how to fix this issue and am looking in to how
easy it will be to integrate a test case into our framework. If I
can do it easily, I will check in the change. If not, I will attach
the current state of my work to the bug and a fix will be checked in
when it gets to the top of the priority list.

Excellent; thanks.

Best,
Laird
