RE: [eclipselink-users] Moving EclipseLink to the RT project

I apologize for the short notice, it took some time to get our ducks in a row to do this, and quick schedule checks revealed today as the best solution.

Note: any transactions that are not checked in by noon today will need to be manually merged after the move.  If you are not confident of your changes, don't check in today.  Wait until you are confident and manually merge them after the weekend.

I am not exactly sure what impact the move will have on the tracking of files that you are working on now.  If you are holding changes over the weekend, you may want to keep track of the files that you changed yourself (perhaps copy them the another location..., write them down, whatever).

Again sorry for the short term inconvenience this will cause.

Subject: [eclipselink-users] Moving EclipseLink to the RT project

EclipseLink Developers,

It looks like we will be moving the EclipseLink project from the Technology Project to the Runtime (RT) project today. This will have effects on our SVN, build, test, and downloads. We are hoping to do the SVN switchover this afternoon. This will mean that any final commits should be done by noon Eastern. After this we'll migrate the final content of the SVN and activate you all against the moved SVN repository.

CURRENT: /svnroot/technology/org.eclipse.persistence/trunk

NEW: /svnroot/rt/org.eclipse.persistence/trunk

I know this will cause some inconvenience but we believe it is important to get this move completed prior to the final two milestone builds of EclipseLink before 1.0. We will keep you posted on the progress and when you can check out the source from the new SVN location.
