I will regret saying this, but perhaps we need yet another vehicle for testing @Inject of the entity manager?

No need for regret but more specifically do mean adding more tests than what we currently have via https://github.com/jakartaee/platform-tck/blob/main/tcks/apis/persistence/persistence-inside-container/platform-tests/src/main/java/ee/jakarta/tck/persistence/ee/cdi/ServletEMLookupTest.java? 

Also do you know who on GlassFish team normally debugs TCK failures in GlassFish/EclipseLink?  Do we need tracking GlassFish issues for those?
