Hello,
As part of our Indigo release preparation we have to clean up our
download server storage by archiving our old releases. The archive
process, removes them from the "download.eclipse.org" location which is
duplicated by the eclipse mirror sites, but they are still available for
download (via the original links) from the archive site (basically they
are still available, but not as widely, so access is potentially
limited). We routinely archive all milestones after the release/patch
they were for is made available, and simply delete the respective
nightly builds.
We currently have the following releases/patches available on the
mirrors: 1.1.4, 2.0.2, 2.1.0, 2.1.1, 2.1.2, 2.1.3, 2.2.0
Rather than archiving all these releases, I plan to archive all but
2.1.3, 2.2.0.
If anyone knows of a reason I should keep one of the versions I intend
on archiving available on the mirrors, let me know ASAP.
Thank you.
-Eric
