Thanks, but something is wrong with respect to the timezones.

If you used the script I wrote then that was in Eastern time.

You need to fix 
https://github.com/maxandersen/ecjson2ics/blob/master/ecjson2ics.py#L38
to use "US/Pacific-New" instead of "US/Eastern".
