Re: [eclipsecon-na-program-committee] video game advice

Tamar,

It is a great idea. Unfortunately we don't have a budget to pay for it.

I know Pacific Pinball has an airstream they can drive around -- it might be fun to have a few physical old game machines, if they have a setup where you can rent them.

Just an idea …

What about a Kinect for the XBox?
I'm not sure it would be able to track movements properly in this particular environment but if so and people get into it, it could be a blast.  It should only be one of the proposed options though as it may not work properly.

Hi all,

We are planning an activity area in the exhibit hall for ECon NA, and
would like to add a couple of video game consoles.

We’d love your recommendations on consoles and games:

- Playstation or XBox? Or one of each? Or a different brand?

- Which games would be fun in this setting?

Playstation with Fifa 15 and plenty of controllers

Wii console tend to be more social - but I'm not uptodate on what is
good there since
Wii Sports :)

Thanks,
Anne
