Re: [eclipsecon-na-program-committee] 81 Talks Selected

The "on-the-fence" selection was not too inspiring to me. I only picked
the following ones:
-
https://www.eclipsecon.org/na2014/session/hitchiker-guide-eclipse-presentation-frameworks-galaxy
because having a comparison of the different UI frameworks is interesting
- https://www.eclipsecon.org/na2014/session/wiring-internet-things-node-red
because it shows Orion and m2m and is cool
https://www.eclipsecon.org/na2014/session/advanced-tests-tycho
because testing is an important topic (3 talks were submitted) and we
need to at least have one talk on it

For the others I would like:
-
https://www.eclipsecon.org/na2014/session/rapid-reactive-webapp-development-play-eclipse
because Play is a cool web app framework, also because this could be of
interest to ppl interested in vert.x
-
https://www.eclipsecon.org/na2014/session/changing-way-you-think-about-concurrency
because akka it is definitely a nice way to deal with concurrency and
the talk will do demos in Java (not Scala)
-
https://www.eclipsecon.org/na2014/session/complex-bpm-solution-developed-and-deployed-30-minutes
because having an overview of Stardust is good
-
https://www.eclipsecon.org/na2014/session/developing-multi-component-environment-while-keeping-your-sanity
because it brings an end-to-end perspective on lifecycle tools, and also
because JFrog is a renouned company in the Java community (won product
award at JavaOne this year) and they made an effort to submit 4 talks
(https://www.eclipsecon.org/na2014/user/2048) and I believe it is a new
speaker to Econ.
-
https://www.eclipsecon.org/na2014/session/developing-and-running-large-enterprise-application-based-eclipse-gyrex-experience-report
because it is the most general talk of the Gyrex ones and is an
experience report

I skipped the Scala talk because I think that getting Scala in 35 min is
not that easy.
I dismissed the Scout talk because I did not find it general enough.
I'm mixed on the Paypal talk and they could also submit it to the CDT summit.

We don't have Angular.js content (at least not that I have seen). Should
we reach to their community?
