I also asked some of my contacts for a node.js speaker, in particular I wanted to see if there were women that we could invite to speak. One recommendation, who is located in SF, was Raquel Velez. It looks like she is doing a lot of speaking about node.js http://rckbt.me/speaking/
Would it make sense to have two talks on node.js?
Also, in case you didn’t see I did a recent blog post encouraging speaking proposals from women. I would really like to see more women attending and speaking at EclipseCon.

Hey All,
We have a resident Node.js expert willing to submit some talks. Here are some titles:
- 20 Tips for Building a Scalable and Robust Node.js Stack that Developers Love
- Asynchronous Template Rendering on Node.js
- Dependency Management with Node.js
- Module versioning, module installation, runtime module loader, etc.
- Hot Code Reloading and Live Coding in Node.js (no browser plugins required
Should he submit all the topics or are there some that sound more interesting?
Thanks,
Dave
