[eclipsecon-na-program-committee] Early bird picks

Wow, I can tell from the talks already
submitted that this conference is going to rock. It was hard to pick just
five. Here are my picks:

1) https://www.eclipsecon.org/na2014/session/road-lambda

-> Java 8 was a very popular topic
at ECE. Having the language spec lead give a talk on it would be amazing.
Note EclipseCon next year coincides almost perfectly with the java 8 release
date.

2) https://www.eclipsecon.org/na2014/session/next-generation-_javascript_-language-tooling

-> Ariya Hidayat is a rock star in
the _javascript_ world and having a talk from him would be a big draw in
the bay area

3) https://www.eclipsecon.org/na2014/session/connecting-eclipse-ide-cloud-based-era-developer-tooling

-> This is talking about the key
missing link between the desktop IDE world and browser-based tools, very
cool stuff

4) https://www.eclipsecon.org/na2014/session/mountains-madness-bling3d

-> One of the most talked about talks
last year, a definite winner

5) https://www.eclipsecon.org/na2014/session/scripting-ease

-> This one caught me by surprise
at ECE. I thought it was a niche topic but the room was completely packed
for Christian's talk and there was lots of excitement about scripting coming
back to Eclipse on the desktop.
