Thank-you everyone who voted on the invited speaker list. Here are the Top 5:

1. Java 8
2. Docker
3. Node.js
4. Typesafe
   
5. Tim Bray

Can we get some volunteers to find the best speakers in each category (BTW, Tim Bray is 

probably the best speaker in the Tim Bray category ;). And then reach out to them.

I will volunteer to try the folks at Docker.

Also, what do people think about Gail Murphy as a keynote [1]. For those that don't know her, she 

is a processor at UBC and runs the Software Practices Lab. She is also a founder of

Tasktop, which means at least two people here currently work for her. She might bring an 

interesting mix between academics and industry.

The one knock is that Mik gave a keynote a few years ago, although I imagine

her's would be much different.
