Re: [eclipsecon-na-program-committee] Talks per area

From my experience last year, that comes out in the wash. Once you get all the votes in it'll be obvious where some categories are stronger and weaker.

Subject: [eclipsecon-na-program-committee] Talks per area

I was looking through the different categories and I wonder if we should reconsider the 10 talks per area. The DSL category only has 10 submissions and the Mobile category has 11. As it stands now, in the case of mobile we'll be accepting talks with a average rating of less than 3.  Contrast that to Tools + WebDev where we have over 40 submissions. Talks with a 3.8 average rating are currently on the outside looking in.

Should we rethink these groupings a bit?

Cheers,
Ian
