I think you are right, "what is Git" is so 2011.

I agree that the more interesting talks now are about Git scaling, Git
for new purposes, and Git stats, graphs, and other visualizations.

I think having a "Don't be the last person on Earth to switch to Git"
would be a fun short talk for those behind the times.
