Re: [eclipsecon-na-program-committee] keynote update

Someone recently suggested to me Luis Von Ahn:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Luis_von_Ahn

He's a big crowdsourcing guy, and we might be able to connect some of his work to open source communities. I read a bio of him that said one of his interests was "encouraging people to do work for free" which we could use more of in the Eclipse community ;) Also his recent web translation project sounds like some areas of Eclipse such as Babel translation, and crowd-sourcing doc with wikidoc.

[eclipsecon-na-program-committee] keynote update

A brief update on the keynotes:

-          Rob Pike declined
-          Tim Berners-Lee did not respond
-          Jeff Norris did not respond
-          Kevlin Henny was already booked

I will ping Jeff again but we do need to generate some more ideas.

Ian
