Thanks, Chris, is there any way to receive an e-mail when any comment is posted. I’m missing a lot of the action because I only see comments when I go to the individual talks. And even when I sign up, I don’t seem to be receiving any replies.

I've update the comments module on the site. It should be fix now!

radio group automatically pre-selects "Public Comment" which makes the

comment public on save. Currently one has to manually flip it back to

"Private Comment" before saving it.
