Just a reminder of the
requirements council call tomorrow May 15th at 1pm EDT (10am PDT).
Direct 416-640-4122
Toll-Free 877-579-4178
Participant Passcode: 951195#
The goal of the call is to plan
the agenda for our Face-to-face meeting in June. Back in January we
discussed possibly inviting guest speaker(s) to the meeting representing the
user and/or analyst community and I would to follow up on that suggestion.
I would also like to review our “Issues
Tracking”
-
Update manager –
has the council been following the work going on in the provisioning space and
do we feel this is meeting the needs we raised back in January?
-
I would like to
report on the Ajax working group discussion from EclipseCon and our plans for
that over the summer/fall
-
After some promising
discussions in February, there has been little to report on non-english support
for Eclipse 3.3. We need to determine what actions the council would like
to take

All, a few notes:
Expect an email from Lynn Gayowski in the next day regarding
the next in-person council meetings which will be June 20, 21 at Omni Parker
house in Boston. The RC is scheduled to meet on the 20th, and
a plenary with the PC and board will be on the morning of the 21st.
Lynn will be sending registration and logistic information shortly.
The RC WIKI page was lost during the WIKI upgrade, but is
now linked again from the Foundation page:

In our January meeting we agreed not to have a meeting in
March but instead wanted to have a conference call in April/May. I would
like to propose May 15th at 1pm EDT (10am PST). Details will
follow – if this is a bad time/date, please let me know ASAP.
As I noted earlier this month, there was a Provisioning
Workshop held in Ottawa with lots of great discussions around the update
manager. For details on the meeting and results, please see http://wiki.eclipse.org/index.php/Ganymede_Provisioning_Workshop
Cheers,
- Don
