RE: [eclipse.org-requirements-council] Meeting on Tuesday October 10th

I’m at the Best Western, too.  I’ll plan on meeting you guys for breakfast.

I’d love to do a presentation of how WR uses Eclipse, but I’m not sure I can pull one together at this point.  I have some stock material I could probably present, though.

Subject: [eclipse.org-requirements-council] Meeting on Tuesday October 10th
Importance: High

I would like to propose that we start at 09:00am local time on October 10th.

We are meeting in the "Eckstube room" in the Old Town Hall (Altes Rathaus), which is a couple of blocks from the Neckar Forum where the Summit will be held.

The old town hall looks like this:

A Map of Esslingen is here (3 Meg PDF):

Note the upper left corner of the map shows the Neckar Forum and Altes Rathaus circled.  The Best Western (for those staying there) is right next to (east) the Neckar Forum.

Confirmed to Attend are: Hakan Mitts, Nokia.  Kevin Parker (morning only), Serena.  Doug Gaff, WindRiver (and Andrew Lyons).  John Kellerman, IBM.  John Graham (afternoon only), Sybase.  Michael Norman or Stefan Daume, Scapatech.  Paul Styles, Compuware.  Paul Clenahan, Actuate.  Dino Brusco, Motorola.  Others tbd.

There is no breakfast service (just Coffee/soda) as it is customary that breakfast is included in hotel rates.  I am staying at the Best Western if anyone would like to join me around 08:00 wherever the BW restaurant is.  We will be going out for lunch at a Cafe next to the Old Town Hall, and I'm buying.

So far only Dino from Motorola has put his hand up for a Member Presentation.  Is there anyone else interested?  I personally would like to learn more about how Compuware is using Eclipse (Paul Styles, are you up for doing a member presentation as outlined at our last meeting?)  Any other takers?  Detials on what is needed (basically a slide deck "what we do with, and would like to see from, eclipse") is here: http://wiki.eclipse.org/index.php/Requirements_Council

The agenda is listed here:

Please let me know if there are other items you would like to see on the agenda (or preferably post on the WIKI directly).

Cheers,

  - Don
