I'm pleased to introduce Donald Smith, who joined the Eclipse Foundation at the beginning of this year.   Donald is an excellent choice for chairing the Requirements Council  and thus he will be doing so from here on.   Expect Donald to be contacting you as soon as he puts together the plan for the roadmap, etc. 

 

Donald has over a decade of experience with enterprise software including product management, marketing, engineering and consulting.  He has spoken at most major Java conferences including Java One, TSSS, JAOO, CSS, Sun Tech Days and others.  Donald's role at Eclipse is to help foster the development of the ecosystem.   You can read about  more about Donald's background on the Foundation staff page http://www.eclipse.org/org/foundation/staff.php (or at least it will be as soon as I get a chance to update it :o) )
