As I understand it, the Platform is producing an RC2a. Probably this means that we should respin SimRel 2023-12 to pick up this change (when it is ready) and then we should respin EPP to produce an RC2a. I don't want to make that decision personally without consultation though. I should note however that it's never been the case that Platform's release repository has different (newer contents) than the SimRel release repository.
So a frustrated and annoyed +1 from me; ignoring a known and reported problem for the better part of 6 months and respinning at the last minute to address it creates avoidable work.
