No funding involved. The
Callisto team had the idea of providing an installer for Callisto - a small
webstart or RCP app that installs the basic platform and then opens the update
manager pointing to the Callisto update site. This (providing an installer) would
be a change from our current distribution mechanism (zips and update jars) and
we want to make sure that the Board of Directors is on-board with the idea.
We are not talking about competing with Yoxos or any other existing
solve-the-big-problem distribution mechanism.

Bjorn, can you explain again why we need to talk to our respective
Board members? I’m assuming it relates to funding an
initiative. What exactly do we want to fund?
