Dear Eclipse Members EclipseCon is a great opportunity to gain
press and analyst exposure for your Eclipse related products and
services. Once again this year, we are expecting a number of
editors, journalist and analyst to attend the conference. To help our members gain more exposure for their EclipseCon
announcements, we have put together a number of press related programs. 1) Attached is the current press and analyst attendee list.
We expect to send out an updated list closer to the conference. Please
feel free to forward this list to your pr team. 2) There will be a press room and press interview room at
EclipseCon. All member companies are invited to leave press kits in
the press room starting Tuesday, March 18. The press interview room is a
private room that can be booked to hold press interviews. You are invited
to pre-book this room by sending an e-mail to Jasmine Teer
(jasmine@xxxxxxxxxxxxx). Bookings will be taken on a first come first serve
basis. Each organization can pre-book up to four 30-minute time slots. 3) The Eclipse Foundation plans to issue a ‘Community
Press Release.’ This press release will provide a summary of all
the different announcements member companies plan to make at EclipseCon.
The intention is to provide more exposure to the individual member press
releases. If your organization would like to be included in the
Community Press Release , please send a 50 word summary of your announcement,
and a link to the actual announcement on your organization’s web site, to
Jasmine Teer (jasmine@xxxxxxxxxxxxx) by March 12. 4) The Eclipse Foundation is always willing to provide press
quotes for member organizations’ announcements. If you would like a
quote from Mike Milinkovich, please send a draft of the quote and draft press
release to Jasmine Teer (jasmine@xxxxxxxxxxxxx) before March 10. We will
do our best to provide approvals within 48 hours. If you have any questions about these programs, please feel
