Get ready for Eclipse IoT Day Santa Clara 2019

At this year’s Eclipse IoT Day, taking place May 13, 2019 in Santa Clara, check out IoT topics such as artificial intelligence, fog computing, Industry 4.0, security and more. Attendees will learn from world-class industry experts how open source technology can help build IoT devices and applications.

Jakarta EE 2019 Developer Survey is now closed!

On March 25, 2019, the Jakarta EE 2019 Developer Survey closed with over 1,770 responses from developers around the globe. It was an outstanding response from our community!

We’d like to thank everyone who participated in this year’s survey and we’re looking forward to sharing the key findings and insights from the survey responses in late April.

The 2019 IoT Developer Survey was a success!

We are proud to announce that the 2019 IoT Developer Survey, organized by the Eclipse IoT Working Group, was a massive success with over 1,700 responses!

A big thank you to all the participants for taking the time to complete the survey. Your responses will contribute to our analyses to gain a better understanding of the requirements, priorities, and perceptions of IoT developer communities.

Results will be published in early April so stay tuned!

EVENT HIGHLIGHT: openGENESIS Meeting

Our first Eclipse openGENESIS Working Group meeting will be held on Tue, April 30, 2019 from 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM CEST.

The working group is in the founding phase and several companies have already decided to join the openGENESIS WG, like TÜV Süd, DFKI, AImotive and iMotion. This event will bring all interested parties together for the first time to discuss the working group and its vision. We will also discuss technical aspects that seem interesting for closer examination and start an open exchange.
