A few initiatives have already been implemented, including:

  • Promotion of diversity at conferences – increasing # of speakers, participation in program committee, keynote speakers
  • Holding BoFs on diversity at our conferences
  • Organizing “meet and greet” sessions at our events to welcome people from diverse communities

Diversity is an ongoing effort that involves and impacts everyone in the community. The discussion is happening on the ‘Diversity’ channel on Mattermost- all are welcome!
