NOTE: Please forward this message to the appropriate PR
contact in your organization. EclipseCon is less than 4 weeks away. Last year,
EclipseCon and the announcements from member companies received excellent
coverage in the IT press. We are hoping the same thing will occur
again this year. To assist member companies with their
EclipseCon press activities, we have organized a number of
initiatives. Below is the information for these initiatives. EclipseCon Press List Attached is the most recent list of press and analysts that
have registered to attend EclipseCon. We expect this list to grow
over the next couple of weeks and we will send out an update one week before
the conference. We have also included the names of editors that
will not be attending the conference but have expressed an interest in covering
the announcements at the conference. Community Press Release The Foundation plans to issue a press release encapsulating
key announcements from Eclipse member companies at EclipseCon. If you are
interested in having your news highlighted in this release, please email a
50-word summary of the release to eclipse@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx by March 14. Foundation Support for Member Releases The Foundation will gladly provide Eclipse member companies
a supporting quote for their press release . Please email a draft copy of your
press release to eclipse@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, with a
suggested quote attributed to Mike Milinkovich. The deadline for requesting a
quote is March 14. Press Interview Room There will be a press interview room available at EclipseCon.
This room can be booked by member companies and exhibiting companies who are
interested in briefing editors and analysts attending the conference. The
room can be booked on a first come, first serve basis. Briefing slots are
limited to 30 minutes each. Please note depending on demand, slots will
be limited for each company. This room is set up for one-on-one interviews
or can be arranged to accommodate press. To schedule a slot, please email eclipse@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx. Press Room There will also be a press room at EclipseCon.
You are invited to display you press kits and press announcements in this room.
Details of the location and delivery instructions for the press kits will be
sent out 1 week before the conference. If you have any further questions about EclipseCon PR
