Wichtigkeit: Hoch
First, thanks for the update.
Second, if you can't find anyone we might be able to do a lightning talk about testing JavaFX with some special info on choosing versions and programming models.
Third, since it seems a lot of work to negotiate a lightning talk, just choose a talk where you are reasonably certain that the speaker is willing to shorten his talks.
one lightning talk spot got empty. Since we dont have a waiting list we need to pick a new one from the list of rejected talks. Any preference from anyone ?
Note that it turns out to be hard to convince someone to come to speak just for 10 minutes. Dirk Fauth just gave back his spot for that reason. So it would be a good choice I believe if we choose someone that we know who is coming for sure (either because he/she is always there) or he/she already a slot for a standard talks.
I am not picking a talk from the waiting list because we saved that for standard slots to get empty and I think we said already that we dont want the use the waiting list for filling lightning spots. Of course we can change our opinion everyday as we like :-)
Just a quick update on registration. I dont spill the number, but it looks good. We will have a great conference. Keep on getting the word out, blog post, tweet about the upcoming conference end of the month.
It also looks like we will have mobile apps with the program for iPad, iPhone, Android phone and Blackberry Z10… :-)
