Sorry for the late answer, I was away for most of the month so
far, and as a result were seriously lagging behind in my
capability to scan incoming mail. Just catching up now.
Thank you for the invitation. I'd like to be able to go,
because it looks like a great conference and we do a lot of
work on Eclipse. But I won't be free these days. What I could
propose is to have Iulian Dragos speak instead. He is the tech
lead of the Scala IDE for Eclipse and a very accomplished
speaker.
Please let me know if that would interest you.

Hallo Martin,
ich vermute du erinnerst dich nicht mehr an mich. Wir
haben uns vor
ein paar Jahren auf der Jax kennengelernt, als du dort
eine Keynote
gegeben hast.
Ich bin dieses Jahr verantwortlich für das Program
Comittee der
EclipseCon Europe die vom 2.-4. November in
Ludwigsburg in der Nähe
von Stuttgart statt findet. Die EclipseCon Europe
(früher Eclipse
Summit Europe) ist die offizielle Konferenz von
Eclipse in Europa.
Letztes Jahr war die Konferenz mit 450 Teilnehmern
ausverkauft. Dieses
Jahr haben wir mehr Platz und können bis zu 600 Leute
beherbergen.
Hättest du Lust und Zeit eine Scala Keynote dort zu
halten? Vielleicht
passt das ja auch zu euerem Typesafe announcement? Wir
würden uns sehr
freuen.
