Re: [eclipse.org-eclipsecon-program-committee] Suggested Themes for ECE

Hmm that really means the modeling guys get a category while tooling, platform, runtime, web and everything else goes into 10 years birthday ? I agree that we should have much more talks of the below categories but we are still going to have (of course interesting) talks about individual projects.

A talk about
* Orion
* top 10 challenges to wring your RCP into the web
* eGit
* the number one talk from EclipseCon from Nasa (if they would hold it again)

into which category would they fall into ? (they could still be interesting)

As much as I disliked the categories of EclipseCon in March at least the categories embraced 100 % of the ecosystem of Eclipse. We should aim for the same.

at least thats my 2 cent here,

We could add a line saying something like

'Of course if you have any topic that you think will be interesting to the EclipseCon Europe attendees, please feel free to propose it.  The Program Committee is always looking for great speakers and great technical content.  Let us know what you are thinking and doing.'

I like the 4 themes too!
Alexander, I would tend to agree with you regarding the need for a container for more "exotic" proposals, but I feel that the "Eclipse birthday" theme leaves enough room for such proposals

Shouldn't we add something which is the container for all the proposals which aren't ALM, Modeling, Industry Solutions or jubilee experiences.

The description for the 4 existing themes is fine.

I like the idea. Have we covered all topics sufficiently with that?
