BBB is promising, but we tried building our own VOIP systems before (e.g., asterix) and it became problematic and was taking too much webmaster time to keep going. Moreover, we just couldn’t get call quality to work beyond 2-3 people. We believe the challenge was on the clients, not on the server side... Maybe it’s time to look again at some point.
Dimdim/vyew and their clones always have one of two issues (or both) – (1) they use phone numbers that are inaccessible from Skype or google phone (etc). I’m sure you’ve heard about all these phone services locating in areas with area codes that charge a premium to connect to, and phone services are catching on and blocking the numbers. (2) they can’t scale beyond 50, let alone 100+.

Other alternatives that will at least allow Linux to view the sessions, and even do desktop sharring.
http://bigbluebutton.org/ - An open source software system, that has a very active community developing it.
DimDim.com - a hosted solution (older versions were open source).
Vyew.com - I've used this before.
AdobeLiveConnect even would have been a good choice as it works on all platforms for viewing.

FWIW, we have looked at other webinar providers based the fact GoToWebinar does not have a Linux client. Unfortunately we have not found one the 1) we can afford or 2) has the scalability/reliability we need to 100+ attendees.
David, I really wish there was another solution. I really really do and if anyone has used another system please let Lynn and me know. We can certainly keep investigating.

I know... it's painful... I have a spare Mac I use... however, we
always had this problem.
If you want a better service that the Foundation can be use... open a
bug in Community and plead there.
