The consensus reached was that we stick with the broad categories
(which I like) and drop the talk tags. I rather have people focus on
their submission and not be narrowed into a specific "tag" ... let's
just have people submit the best talk they can. That's the reasoning
in my head at least.
For organizational purposes, the PC will create tags later on when we
go and review the talks to help with the curation process. I'm hoping
between all of us on the PC, we can come up with good tags that help
us and conference attendees. We can have this discussion later though.
One challenge this year is that we don't have much resources in the
way of changing the submission system due to losing Gabe an co.
