On the plate for the first call of the day:

1.  BIRT/Reporting talk by Jason Weatherby for Extended Talk
This conversation is not over. Let's have it.

2.  We have 2 extra lightning talks (DTP) that need to be included
in the schedule (was 3).

3. Dropping talks from the list of standard talks. There has been
some email and commentary on these already. There will be
must sadness and perhaps some gnashing of teeth, etc, so
expect it.

Here's what I have in the list as droppable:

B+I : 1336,  1395, 1429, 1491, 1523
Java: 1151, 1214, 1486
e4:  1159, 1328, 1432 (merge)
SOA:  1320

I implore you all to put your hardass hats on before this call and
be ready for a bit of a challenge. That's just a dozen talks there
and we need less.

There are going to be suggestions that XYZ be a lightning talk
instead of a standard. This is cool - but make sure that you have
a lightning talk in the same area ready to pop out of the lightning
talks schedule. Remember too that there some talks that are just
going to be a waste of time in a 12 minute format and won't work,
for example anything that has deep technical content that the
attendee is expected to retain.
