Re: [eclipse.org-eclipsecon-program-committee] Some minor usability issues with the eclipsecon submission site

Jetan,

First off I am assuming you are talking about the Submission System [1] as opposed to the conference web site [2]? It would help if you could specify which one when asking for features as they are each different projects and have different goals. The conference web site is for the general public to find out about the conference and sign up to attend, the Sub System is for the speakers and program committee to shape the talks for the conference.

Either way lets hear your ideas on how we could make the sites a bit more accessible and useful. As you might have noticed we have reworked the look of the conference web site this year. Along with that we will be working on improving how the pages work. Your ideas could help shape this as we get closer to the conference.

Thanks,
gO'

I'd raised this last year but did not see much traction on it. I feel that usability of the conference site is something that could be improved.

Being able to easily access frequently used pages to search for talks and is something I'd hope to look for :)

I'm sure I'll be opening more such bugs, and try not to be a too much of a PITA for Gabe :)
