Re: [eclipse.org-eclipsecon-program-committee] Question on slideware for tutorials

Heh, I can put them to the sleep with the lights on, windows down, and music blaring....

It's a talent.

Eric,
We can do either for you.  I, personally, recommend well lit to keep the audience from falling asleep, but it is your choice.

The TmL team is close to finalizing slides for our tutorial and the team asked me a very good question.  I have no answer because I've not attended the tutorials at EC before and I don't know the layout of the rooms involved. As opposed to the presentation rooms, where I have a good idea of the situation.

Will the tutorial rooms be well lit and bright? I ask this because we wonder if it would be best to present our slideware with a dark color on a light background. This would seem the best approach for a medium to bright room.  If the room will be dim, we would probably take a light text on dark background to keep from blinding people with a bright background.

Apologies if this sets off a religious war--seemingly simple questions like this often have much less simple answers.

Thanks!
