But
I’m not actually speaking, why would I post a bio?

Don
All,
Hopefully everyone has had a good vacation and is back at work with
lots of
good projects. I came back from holidays to find myself buried under
billable work (a good problem to have) but recently worked through the
mountain
and have turned my attention back to my second favorite subject,
EclipseCon.
First, thanks to all of you that have been posting about your
categories.
It is great to see everyone talking about their categories. I really
wish
that the cloning technology was better, there are a lot of talks that I
would
like to make, but can't. My hope is that the rest of you will be
posting
about your categories over the next two weeks. Special note to Wayne
and
his podcasts, very nice.
I would also ask that those of you who have Main Stage presentations
consider
doing a special short post about their Main Stage presentation. It
doesn't have to be a lot, Bjorn did a nice one on the Runtime category
yesterday if you would like an example.
As I was writing my first post about the Keynotes, I noticed that one
of my
keynote presenters does not have a bio filled in. Of course the page
with
bios shows all of the presenters. So I quickly noticed that three of my
keynotes don't have bios (500 in baseball would be awesome). So I have
some work to do.
Then I noticed that there were a few additional missing bio's.
Bjorn Freeman-Benson
Doug Gaff
Anne Jacko
Donald Smith
David Williams
Please report to the front of the submission system, and enter a bio
with a
picture.
I know that we have a EclipseCon staff member looking at getting all
the bios
filled in, but it would be helpful if all of you will make sure that
the
presenters in your categorie's have bios in the system. I think that a
note from someone that they know is a lot more likely to get a prompt
response.
That's all for now,
Scott
