If a company steps up and says "I want to sponsor a tutorial", we have the ability to make that happen. Last year companies did "Developer Days" instead of sponsored tutorials, but that was their choice, not ours.

They were called out in the program, and took place on the hotel side rather than the convention center side. I also remember talks that were clearly marked as being paid for by a company rather than being a peer-reviewed submission. The submission by IBM Lotus used as an example here would seem to fall into this category, but I don't know if something like this is planned for EclipseCon 2009. Scott? Bjorn?
