Program Committee members,
If you have any opinions about which EclipseCon sessions should be
record, now is the time to let me know.
The recording equipment needs to be set up in a room for a given day,
thus we will record all the sessions in that room for the whole day.
For example, if we choose Tuesday Room 206, then we will record "Apple
and Oranges...", "Using Dependency Injection...", "Eclipse and
DITA...", "Functional Testing...", etc.
I'm open to suggestions (prioritized lists) of rooms and days. There's
a limited number of XGA recorders, of course, so 100% coverage isn't
going to happen, hence the need for prioritized lists.
To me the key question about which rooms and days to record is based
around three questions:
- Which sessions would be most useful to people after the
conference is over when they are watching on their computer?
- Which sessions have more demo and less slideware, because
slideware is easy to ship around doesn't really need a webcast, whereas
a demo makes a nice webcast?
- Which sessions will provide the best advertising to future
EclipseCon attendees, i.e., they'll watch it and say "I've got to go
next year"?
Thanks for your help,
Bjorn
