a suggestion that came up at the last
call. Just have a square that has a color. No letters etc.
Subsequent clicks in the square change the color. Keep clicking
in the square til it is a color you like. green = accept. orange
= waitlist, red = decline, white = undecided at this time. (pick whatever
colors you like but this combo seems seasonally festive and has intuitive
meaning for folks).
For all practical purposes this is what
we have today. People just click randomly til it looks right. In
the Philosophy of Bjorn, why not simply admit the reality and facilitate
it in the infrastructure. ;-)

So then you want to click on the blanks to set the other
states? If it's "A <blank> <blank>" and you
want to switch it to wait listed, you want to click on one of the blanks?

Gabe,
Man I get confused using this TS field.

Can I suggest something simpler:
Nothing selected: ADW
Accepted: A <blank> <blank>
Declined: <blank> D <blank>
Waitlisted: <blank> <blank>
