Re: [eclipse.org-eclipsecon-program-committee] Short Talks and Demos...

Richard,
Is there room for more long talks or not ? Basically, if not, I could offer
some valuable contributions to convert to short talks.
There are still 2 pending long talks in the Java track. I could imagine:
one extra long slot, and the other converts to short...

Hi,
As we’re approaching the end of January and the official deadline for Short
Talk and Demo submissions, I’d like to ask you to all start
approving/declining these as soon as you can. There are (at least) 2 good
reasons:
1. It will help those who need to make registration/travel plans based
on their acceptance of a talk. This also gives us more accurate
information regarding this year’s expected attendance.
2. It will help me to begin the process of scheduling the short talks
(hopefully, I’ll do better than I did for Long Talks).
Thanks for your support,
Rich
