RE: [eclipse.org-eclipsecon-program-committee] Problem withthe "Whyyou should use Eclipse RCP" short talk (387)

Summary:

The submitter of "Why you should use Eclipse RCP" (short talk #387)
can't make the conference. We can

(1) Have Wayne (EMO evangelist) give 387's content (a demo) in lieu of
the original submitter.

(2) Accept a different short talk.
(2a) Ed offered to give an "Eclipse Challenges" talk, which by my
count has garnered around 4 positive (and 0 negative) votes from PC
members so far.
(2b) Vote on another short talk.

I'd like to move that we accept Ed's talk (option 2a) unless some PC
member states a preference for a more general voting process by COB
Tuesday, in which case we'll agree on the EclipseZilla query and a
timeframe to vote.

Yes, alive, but unfortunately not following the details of the email
trail.
Can you please give a succinct summary of what the issue is and what our
options are? Thanks, Ed.
